Looking out my window
Sunny clear day, gentle breeze, warm
I am thinking
While it is warm, I can't help think that Fall will soon be approaching. If truth be told it cannot come soon enough for me.
I am thankful
That I felt good enough to get everything on my list done today. And I am not exhausted.

I have a thread crochet project on the go, and I am working on a penny rug mat.
I am wearing
A comfortable well worn jean dress with embroidered flowers, loose fitting. It is a lovely house dress.
I am reading (read) /watching (watched) / listening to
I don't watch tv, I am currently reading a recipe book about grinding my own grains, and recipes to make with it.
I am learning
to grind my own grain and bake healthy bread
In my kitchen
I am learning how to make homemade noodles, and I have some drying on the rack, and will be put into glass jars for future meals after 24 hrs.
In my garden
Closing thoughts
This was a nice reminder of the Simple Woman Day Book, and something I did at one time, and would like to do again.

Hi Sherry, yes the Simple Woman Day book is a lovely way to remember what is treasured, and what we are grateful for.
My mother-in-law always made her own egg noodles, and I have often thought about giving that a try. Grinding your own flour, how awesome is that.
