Hello & Happy Homebuddy Monday to you!
Summer on steroids will be happening this week, in the 90's.
I've been out to water early this morning before the sun came around our wee garden. Filled up the bird bath's, making sure the critters who sing for us & pollinate( honeybees & butterflies) our plants are not parched, & even for Rosebud our family deer stops by has some water after she's topped off my sunflowers, and had a little Honeysuckle.
I've been working on a little project, as I see fit to do. No time schedule, a few hours in the evening time.
Little Gingerbread house
This is the gingerbread mill. It needs a bit more stiffening and removed from the form.
This is the leaflet where I got the patterns. I love these "vintage" from the 80's & 90's, makes me laugh, but nonetheless it was a kinder and gentler time.
I love to rescue these pamphlets. I'm not going to make everything in the book I don't think, I love the little lamposts that actually light up, may be a bit to fiddly for me. I have a house & mill completed.
The house reminds me of the grand painted lady houses I call them from Victorian times, and I made the mill because I grind my own flour. I will make a church for sure and see after that. There are windows in the buildings, and I thought it would be pretty to place a battery operated tea candle in each building, most likely in the fall.
I got the leaflet off of either Etsy or Ebay. It is the original leaflet/pamphlet, not a photo copied page, which I am sure is copyright issue. So I collect the pamphlets.
I'm done outside for today, clothes to fold, and I'm going to restiffen the mill. After that I'll see what I get into. AFTER I finish my coffee, visit with you all.
Have a blessed day!
Be of Good Cheer!

How very sweet is that little house that you crocheted! In fact the entire village looks cute. Putting a wee light inside the houses would make them even sweeterđź’–.
