Now, some farmhouse worthy stuff......
If all goes well, we are on our way to Zanesville Ohio, and will be visiting the Heartstone Pottery Outlet.
We've never been & I excited to see what is in the town, as well as getting the fermenting crock 1 gallon, which is what we have intended to purchase there. I'm looking forward to making pickles & saurkraut.
Fermenting....another Farmhouse Worthy Skill
who else out there ferments? Comment please.
In the meantime.....
perhaps a posting from another time & a recipe thrown in for good measure...

A new follower, Jules Thank you. We would love to visit your place so be sure to leave a comment ( your calling card) so I can include your blog in the highlight reel, so others can find you & follow along. I like your heart in the sand picture. Two things I love, hearts & the beach.

I am going to try and get lots done before heading out to our Remembrance Day ceremony. I had 4 uncles that fought and three uncles of Harvey's fought in WW2. I attend since they can no longer do so.
ReplyDeleteMy MIL always made sauerkraut.
God bless.
My Mom made sauerkraut in a crock but I have never done anything like that.
ReplyDeleteI must thank you for the tip on eliminating blogs no longer in use. I think I may accidentally deleted too many. I'll see about adding them back. GM
Okay so I managed to get rid of that annoying anonymous thing.
