A repost with a cheesecake recipe

Hello Homebodies!

I'm getting a few things done as my eldest son's birthday is this weekend. So I'm making one of his favorite things in the world cheesecake.

This is a vintage recipe from 1940's I found many years ago.

This year I will be baking in a vintage pie plate rather than the springform pan, as I found that the cheesecake retained some "tin flavor" from the mold. So I tossed it after many years of service.

If you like vintage Christmas movies, I have a favorite one which I never tire of....

Never have I seen that movie, and now I am going to look for it to watch.

God bless.

I'm pretty sure we've watched The Bishop's Wife years ago but maybe it's time to watch it again. ( I love seeing what women were wearing at that time).

It is a delightful movie with a message. For our time and for all time.

I always feel so hopeful after I watch it. It is a really lovely movie, and I'd like Dudley to be my guardian angel. I hope you find it and are able to watch.
