I made this many years ago, and gifted it at Christmas to a blogger friend. I've not made another, and as I look at it, will be on the the tinker list. She is so cute. But oh, I've several things going on with the hook.
I'm musing about inside not that I would be outside for it is brisk. Nice for a moment here or there, but I've nothing which needs to be done outside.
I have what is left of our turkey dinner, the turkey which I simmered on the stove, removed all the bones, and we are going to have soup for supper. It was a lovely Thanksgiving, and our dinner was very good. I do so enjoy making that meal.
I've pulled out my decoration box, and seeing what I would like to do this year. I have strung some popcorn & dried cranberries, and threw in a few slices of dried orange for good measure and placed it upon the mantel within the garland. Just a few things this year, my favorites.
An old posting from last year about the crochet Christmas Tree I made, it made me smile today when I pulled it out of the box. It looks very pretty on the Mulberry Sparkly Christmas yarn doily I also made last year, all sparkly & lovely.

I got a few candles of soy made and re ordered to make more I only got 4 candles out of the bag.So I will be making more of those with the Victorian Pine scent which is really nice. I found some lovely tin cookies cutters ( mini) I am going to baking gingerbread and make some ornaments they will be small ones, and I'll cover them with wax to preserve them. I'll be using gulf wax for that.

them every year, and every year I try to keep it alive and have it
rebloom under special conditions. Any one of you ever get this re bloom?
I'd love to hear, it has something to do with light/dark.

I love to make turkey noodle soup with leftover Thanksgiving turkey. My mother-in-law taught me how many years ago. I am also working on decorating. I am behind because I had unexpected guests for the weekend. Since it was a surprise visit from my daughter, I am NOT complaining. The rose poinsettia is pretty. I've never had one of those.
Making those gingerbread ornaments and coating them with wax sounds like a good idea.
Your poinsettia is lovely but I don't know of anyone who has had luck getting them to rebloom. My SIL has one that she's now had for years and it's almost a tree...but no blooms.
Turkey soup is something to be cherished after a large meal. Love the looks of that poinsettia, I have never seen one like that before.
God bless.
Sounds like you are making good progress with holiday decorating and cheer. We are a bit behind due to a desk removal, but should be able to get our tree up this weekend. Have a nice weekend!
