Hello Dear Homebodies!
Busy times these holidays....part of me likes them, and part of me doesn't. I suppose it is because it takes me out the routine of daily life, an interuption albeit pleasant. By the time they are over I am ready to change back into my regular life.
Thanksgiving is coming soon, I have to say that is my favorite holiday of all. I love the aroma the house has baking the holiday food, the leftovers, and the traditions we have.
if you missed that posting....Christmas Yarn.
I finished up the project with the Christmas Tree/Holiday lights yarn last night. I could make larger, but like it as is, sometimes less is more. The yarn is so pretty & sparkly I am hard pressed to do much more with this other than to affix a pretty velvet red bow. It will need some sort of spray if this will be hung as the yarn will most like flap over. I will have to research what spray if any I can put on here as I don't want to cover up them sparkly bits.

This is not my pattern.
I give full credit to the designer and am grateful that she was kind enough to not only share her pattern, but demonstrate how to make. Talent on loan from God.
The tutorial is easy to follow and it is a pretty wreath or table topper.

Wow, your crochet wreath is lovely. More and more I wish I had learned to crochet as a younger person. So many wonderful fiber artists out there.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
It is never to late to learn something new. Start with the basic chain (ch) st.
