overnight pizza dough (sourdough) experiment for supper
making candles this weekend....my guys are going on a field trip.
anticipating a ride to get a fermentation crock, actually made in the state of Ohio in the USA. We are going in November, which now isn't that far away.
I originally thought that I would purchase this from Lehmans, which is in Amish Country in Ohio, the one I was looking at wasn't made in USA. Buy local, support small business in your community whenever it is possible for you to do so.

Happy Monday!! I tried to go to the Ohio Stoneware site but kept getting a notice that it was not a secure site. I wondered if a fermentation crock was similar to the big stoneware crocks that my Mom had. I know she made sauerkraut but I'm not sure what else she used them for.
I continue to hobble around using my cane and hoping my foot gets better. I'm finding it nearly impossible to stay off it :(

I was a lazy bum & didn't get to them this weekend. I hope to be doing the candles soon.
My son has my privacy & security settings very tight and I'm wondering if that is the problem.
I am thinking of trying some sour dough bread over the next month. I need to learn more of the old and simpler ways and I think that will be my first effort.
