An old soul milling about smartly in suburbia, (not my first choice) creating life in a Farmhouse Worthy way. Old fashioned skill sets, homemade, handmade, heartmade, I make my home cozy working with my hands crocheting, cooking from scratch and baking fresh homemade bread. My family & I deserve my intentions to provide a simple lifestyle in a haggard rush around world. Slowing down & creating with intention & joy.

I've noticed a sign recently advertising a visit to a pumpkin patch; in a town near us. I have never been to one before. Hope to this year. When my boys were little they were raised in the desert...not too many pumpkin gardens growing there; let alone any kind of real farms. My DIL has grown pumpkins and beautiful vegetable gardens. Just this past weekend she picked a barrel of apples and will make applesauce! It is something her mother and grandmothers have always done.
ReplyDeleteHaha, At first I thought those were lemons.
ReplyDeleteWe have some local farms where we can pick our own apples, and pumpkins. I just love Fall.
Little pumpkins!
