An old soul milling about smartly in suburbia, (not my first choice) creating life in a Farmhouse Worthy way. Old fashioned skill sets, homemade, handmade, heartmade, I make my home cozy working with my hands crocheting, cooking from scratch and baking fresh homemade bread. My family & I deserve my intentions to provide a simple lifestyle in a haggard rush around world. Slowing down & creating with intention & joy.

He is lovely isn't he? I say he because there were 2, he was the brighter of the two as is usual in the bird world, the male is more colorful. I "think" it is a red finch. I have not seen the pair since then. He posed so pretty quite a while
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! No words needed.
ReplyDeleteIt is an American Red Finch. I looked it up. But this one that red is so vibrant. GOD doesn't make anything 2nd rate. Simple beauty.
ReplyDeleteLovely.....
ReplyDeleteHello Faith, Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. Thanks also for trying to solve my blogging problem, even if it wasn't possible. When my DIL has time I think she'll find that widget for me. I am not at all techno-savvy!
ReplyDeleteI love the picture of the Red Finch; he certainly is looking his best!!
Such a beautiful bird and a lovely shot :)
ReplyDeleteIn reply to your question... Those are Snapdragons, in my Header. We got them from an area nursery and they did not bloom for ages. I was ready to pull them out, but my husband said Please don't yet.
ReplyDeleteAnd he was sooooo right! They are blooming beautifully. I just love the colors.
They remind me of faerie dresses, perhaps. -smile-
Gentle hugs...
