Been moving about smartley the last few day, more boxes to goodwill today. There isn't to much now that I would take, I've got things pretty well pared down. I do have a few things which I want to take to the consignement store, maybe today, after goodwill. There may be one or two things...as I clear through more stuff, but as far as my things...I'm pretty good.
I saw this little doll, and I ordered her. I had no idea that Barbie came is such cute outfits. I don't have my original Barbie from the 60's anymore.😔 But my husband bought me the anniversary version of the one I had. She is still in the box. Not letting her get away. I have been finding lovely dolls like this but not very many clothes. By the time these came out I was having children of my own (boys) and I was not in the girl toy isle...we were looking at trucks,trains, and cars
Anyway I ordered her because I love this colonial stuff. I'll bring her out in the fall. Love that little basket of corn.... My oldest son said he would buy this for me for my birthday.Her official title is Barbie Doll Pilgrim American Stories Vintage Collection Vintage Special.

Hey, I took alot of stuff to goodwill, I can bring in something new right. 😉
It may be silly to some, but I've always had a simple nature, I've said it before..not all that glitters is gold. I get joy from such simple things.

I also have a simple nature and I love "playing" with my dolls. I change their clothes according to the time of year or the temperatures and sometimes set them on my bed during the day.
I like that you change them up for the holidays. Such a simple joy in a very complicated noisy world. The simple things abound, and are free for us to enjoy every minute of the day, every day. Thank you for stopping over. :)
Me too! Having that simple nature. She is such a pretty doll and I love the outfit. We have been cleaning out too and I have two big boxes in the car now to drop off at goodwill. Sure is a good feeling, isn't it.
