Howdy!
A batch of things on tap today, we'll see how long my battery holds out. I'm going to make it easy on myself today, and we will have grilled ham and cheese sandwhiches for supper, I had a loaf of homemade bread in the freezer, I took that out. Supper Done 😌
My husband has been trying to dry his tent out from camping last week, it's slightly damp, but he can't put it away like that, and it doesn't go with my living room furniture...our living room is just that, a living room. So I hung it out on the line today, it is "supposed" to be dry today. While I was hanging on the line, I could here my feet squishing in the grass....everything is watered to the max, and yet they are saying tomorrow we are getting more rain. Could be worse..if all that rain we had were snow....
Folding of clothes, and running the sweeper, made a pie for the husband on fathers day. I've had a hankering for homemade cinnamon rolls, I may whip up a batch, it's cool enough. Maybe I'll bake them in the morning to get the troops up...sometimes it works.
I've got the last of the candlemaking supplies today. Finishing up the last bit of coffee, did a few dishes which were in the sink, drive the oldest to work. Then I can move about smartley.
I'm not tired yet..we'll see how far I get along..that tent was a little more than I expected. But I got it on the line.
I love me a clothesline! I don't use mine an awful lot. But I am fond of them. I love to see clothes and sheets flappin in the wind. Nobody...and I mean nobody hangs their clothes out where I live, I suppose back in the day alot of the ladies did hang out their wash.
Need to do this real soon to get the dust out them. |
Do you like to hang out the wash?
Yes! But, I don't hang out as much as I used to. Jeans always get hung out if the weather is good for it. I'm down to only one line so can't hang out too much. I think my daughter and I are the only ones in our community who hang out clothes.
ReplyDeleteI love to hang my washing out to dry. The smell of freshly laundered bedding is a real delight.
