Happy Homebody Monday!
Welcome In!
It arrived overnight just a dusting, then POOF! it was gone. My kind of snow!
It is cold, and there have been very tiny flakes falling.
Feeding the birds again now that it has gotten colder. We actually begin in October. The leaves are off the trees, and there is slim pickins for them. We'll continue into the springtime.
I appreciate all you who commented about the candles, I hope I answered some questions you might have had about making beeswax candles and the supplies which I use, and will see what might work for you.

I didn't like Mondays at one time. Now I think they are one which I like. Everybody goes back to their jobs, and the routine kicks in. After the weekend sometimes with them all here and what not, I relish the house to myself, & set about straightening, and finding time to relax & maybe move the hook.
I received that oil blend I talked about, the one which had all the components for 4 Thieves?
I rather like the smell of the oil, it reminds me of Noxema. I still use Noxema & I still like the clean fresh scent of it. For many many years it has been a staple in my home.
I poured a few drops on a beeswax candle, which I son't usually do, but was interested in the scent and properties along with beeswax it clean & clear the air. I plan on making a set of those with soy wax soon.

A tip I learned along the way.
After the candle burns down, you may be left with some wax residue in your container.
I have found that if I put these into the freezer for a time, it is easier to remove the wax left in the jars. Also I pop the tapers in there filled with wax, and it helps them to slip out of the mold. It also helps to spray them before you put the hot wax in for easy removal.
