Hello Friends & Neighbors
Christmas Rose Pointsettia (my favorite) |
I hope that this finds you all well. Come sit a spell with me this morning, I'm having first cup of coffee, it is 7:23 am. I got up at 6:00 am and got some sourdough bread started to rise, I had fed it yesterday and overnighted the started. Fingers Crossed.
I've been moving my hook, and seemed to have found my way back after losing all mojo. I was introduced to this pattern by JustVintageCrochet, on you tube. I have another one which will be on the go as I am waiting the skein of yarn I purchased to make it.
The picture is dark, I had lights on but it is a very gray day.I believe this pattern is from the 1980's, vintage enough, but when I think of vintage it goes way back further for me. If you are interested in making this, there is a tutorial at the link, and you can order the pattern from her Etsy shop, which I did because I love old crochet projects, and they go in my binder.
This needs some adornments, and I am working on that as well. This is the finished Christmas Tree without any ornaments. I hope to have this finished up by the weekend. I'm also trying to finish up a thread project which I started along time ago. I intend to finish this up before next Christmas.
I posted about it here, Snow Queen. I have the background completed, and am working on the skirt now. This is done with thread crochet #10. I have a fall themed Crochet scene which you have seen in my header, I'm making this one for winter, and I have a pattern for a Valentine one. Using up stash, I've got plenty of thread, it is my first love. I like working with yarn also, but thread is my favorite, a little hard on the eyes sometime.
Well, that is my story & I'm sticking to it

God bless.
Thank you Jackie!
I'm so happy that you've got your enthusiasm for crochet back. I like that dark tree with the light edging. So pretty!! GM
