We finished tucking in the garden for this year. I did plant the garlic we picked up in Amish at the seed store. I got "0" this year from what I planted last fall. They were growing in January, and got hit with the frost, the up and down weather. When I dug it up there was nothing there it disintegrated. Trying again, if no go this year than I'll not do it again.
It's been very "fallish" here, lovely sweatshirt weather. My husband did some decluttering in his storage area yesterday and actually threw things away. Miracles Happen!
We are considering whether we will stay where we are, we are paying off debt, and it May it will be done. I personally do not want to live near a plethora of chain stores, fast food, the highway, big box stores especially the big "W", or a bus line. Which we currently do. Throwing convenience for safety, we are better elsewhere. So we are decluttering, and when we have to go, it will be better/easier to carry.
I'm waiting on some yarn I ordered from Hobby Lobby, I hope that I can make something with it, as I have a project in mind, which I couldn't make work with the yarn I did have in stock.
Milling about smartly today, finishing up laundry, a dance with the sweeper, and left over beef stew for supper, with the remainder of home made bread.

Those scrubbers are adorable! And good for you for paying off debt 💸

For the first year (and last year), something ate our fall garlic, so I spring planted and it ate it all too. We are sure it was voles or field mice. We are building raised beds and hope to get it fall planted before it's too late. Cute pumpkins!
I didn't realize that you lived in such a busy area. I can understand why you might want a quieter place.
Cute crocheted pumpkins 🧡 GM
Yes, our suburb is the largest in the area, just south of a large major city, and it comes with all the bells and whistles. Not my cuppa at all.
