In the hopper for this week

 

These were Sunflowers from last years garden.

Going to be a very warm summer day 88 degrees. I've got some bed clothes out on the line, they will be fresh as a daisy. A simple joy!

I made a new batch of laundry soap, we were getting low. I've got some beeswax ordered so I always have some. I've enough candles for now, but may very well make some more. Boy Scout camping is coming up in a few weeks, my husband will be gone all week, so I can get some candles made, the soy ones for winter/fall season. The beeswax for emergency lighting and general mood lifter, air purifier.

We had a nice 4th of July, and surprisingly there was a nice display about the hood, without all of the very loud things which do nothing but make noise. I worked on my filet crochet, and we cooked out on the grill.

My husband watered our little garden yesterday with rain from the rain barrel, it was full and we didn't even make a dent in it. I noticed things really popped after several days of rain. I check the garden every morning to see what my "deer friend" has left for me. 

This, I found yesterday. It literally grew overnight, it was not there the day before. 

Have no idea whether it was a good mushroom or bad, it got pulled.

I may get some sunflowers yet, I have a few which have buds that "my deer" friend missed. I got seeds last year for a blue sunflower and I am anxious to see if it really is. Zinnia's are finally coming into bloom, my Calendula is alive but has not grown at all since I planted the seeds and they are 1" tall. 

Another prune this week of the basil for pesto, and the time could use a little haircut as well.
