Howdy Folks!
Well I had some quiet time over the weekend, too hot to be out in the sun so I moved the hook some.
I'm still working on the same pattern as I mentioned a few posts back, however I decided to skip that part and either re visit it, or work around it. I've not been successful at this particular part of the pattern.
It is not the main part of the pattern, and will not be seen for the most part, I couldn't get the count right, and I am not a fan of working in tight spaces such as for arms/legs as this was the case here. It has been put aside for now, and I'll figure out what I will do at that time.
So I moved on the "more funner" part of the pattern. It is moving along rather quickly and that give me some joy after I spent many hours on the other part, just wasn't feeling it.
For this part of the pattern I have chosen from my stash of beautiful thread.
in the colorway of Antique.
Hobby Lobby Crochet thread is pretty nice thread, I enjoy working with it, and it has a nice sheen to it. This thread is a #10, and a steel crochet hook 7 1.65 mm.
I just love working with the thread, it really gives me a joy.
So that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Anybody else out there a thread lover?

I wouldn't want to work on frustrating patterns either. Life is too short to waste the time. Keep enjoying sitting in the shade on these hot days. GM
I used that thread to make some hair clips, and sold some. I use it to crochet very thin dishcloths as well. I've made washcloths too.
Not a crochet person, though more and more I would like to learn how.
God bless.
Jackie, you can absolutely learn to crochet, and many ways to learn on You Tube. I think you will enjoy it very much.
I think thread is my favorite to use.
Amen!
