La tee dah!

How are you all? Need a tip about rain? Getting to much?

Install a rain barrel, we've not had a drop since we connected that to the gutter. Rain all around us, skipping over and watering elsewhere. So for now it's tap water for the garden plants. Nice, but doesn't do wonders like the rain water.

It's cloudy today, and looks like rain, one can hope. I figured it a good day to plant my peppers and tomatoes, they've been in their little pots for a time. Plant them and hope for the best.

We took a day trip to Amish it was good to get out of Dodge. Didn't do alot of running around and such, just a nice slower paced day.

We were there in March and saw something I've wanted for a long time and have never seen one anywhere, trash or store. We couldn't bring it home that day. We drove by and checked if it was still there, and to my surprise it was. It is a vintage piece and needs some work, but it is lovely.

It didn't glide on one side, which my husband fixed, these glide on ball bearings ( I learned that from the internet). less than 3.00 and it was fixed. It needs a complete paint job as the back and underside are rusty.

So it will be painted sage green like the rain barrel and cranberry I rather fancy those colors together.

Well, there is the laundry.....waiting patiently for me to put it away....

Until next time....

What an awesome glider. I am so glad that you got to take it home with you and was such an easy fix.

Lots of rain happening here, which means our rain barrel is full. So much better for plants, but a great deal harder to haul around.

God bless.

I do like your glider and to think it was still there just waiting for the right person. With some sanding and painting, now that it glides smoothly, it will be such a great addition to your porch or garden. GM
