Chit Chat over the clothesline

Well here we are once again, almost one month later. I hope you are all well, some of you are busy preparing  your gardens, and some are preparing it for a winters nap.

I cannot say that I have accomplished much in the last few weeks, I am battling fatigue, and some days the train I feel like I'm pulling is really heavy.

I've managed to make a few taper beeswax candles, still working on the afghan, and trying to find a pattern which will not be as substantial to fiddle about on. When I get the fatigue, I also get the brain fog...which puts a hitch in my getalong.

I did get the rhubarb planted, and one grape plant. We started some sunflowers and marigolds, delphiniums and colored Queen Annes lace. More will be planted in the coming weeks.

The rain barrel is up, my husband did a good job with attaching, and toting the heavy stuff.

Baking one loaf of white bread today for supper, it's in the first rise. I have the sourdough starter out for later, it has been fed and is rising nicely. The method I follow for this is very simple, and extremely easy to maintain, I posted about that

Here

I have a few more tidbits, which I'll talk to you about at another time, I don't want to "overwhelm" you with all of this excitement.

Till next time

~ Faith~

I'm sorry you're battling fatigue. I hope you will feel better soon. That water barrel looks great....let me guess...you painted it? I hope to get at least one of our barrels to look half as nice. Thanks for the idea. GM

How wonderful to "see" you once again. I am just starting to get the garden ready for my planting. Harvey has been busy planting onions and potatoes. Otherwise just the usual happening here.

God bless.

It's been raining here, but today we finally get some sunshine. I'm still working on an afghan as well. I sometimes have to switch it out with a different project and get a break from it. Have a nice week.

I do that too, it's nice to work with a different yarn and even hook sometimes.

sometimes just the "usual" is a very good thing. Onions and taters two of my favorites.
