Just chit chat

The weather is changing, and we will be slipping back to early spring, it's ok...it is only March.

We are to get some rain, and a slight temperature drop. I am almost finished with the design project I am working on, and it should be finished up this evening. It will need steamed, and loose ends woven . I'm not really sure yet where I will submit the design to, there have been  a few call outs for upcoming Crochet magazines. I had only done this one other time, my item was not selected to be in the magazine. I'm not so sure it will this time either, I'll have a lovely garment either way. It is a rather lengthy process all in all. They plan way out into the future, and I can only imagine the number of entries they receive they can't possibly put them all in...I wonder what people do with their designs who don't get published. Some folks just sell their pattern outright, that is an option.

As long as I will have the iron out for that, I will press the other Wind Rose Doily which is done, and get that into a hoop. next on my project list, something small, and something with thread this time.

A few years back I fashioned up these lovelies. I got a twig tree at JoAnns for 1/2 off, and thought I might do something with it and display the eggs with some other items for Springtime.
