A little Easter Tree

I know it's a few days off yet, but I'll share the Easter twig tree, with the crochet eggs. The basket I found at Hobby Lobby, it is pink and wicker like a basket, perfect to put the tree in.

it feels every bit of winter today, the wind is brisk and cold, rained most of the day....at least it is not snow. The temperatures will be up and down for a while. I've been hearing more birds different ones, and seeing more and more Robins...and even my rose bush has new growth..shh! don't tell my "deer" friend. I'm sure they will be around. All creatures are welcome here, they are a joy to watch.

Enjoy your weekend.

Cute Easter tree. After a week of more pleasant weather now we have nasty gusts of wind blowing rain against the windows. Makes me feel extra chilled and in need of hot tea.

When I lived on Whidbey Island, I would rake an area clean and smooth, then put down sand in a circle and rake it smooth. In the very middle, I would place cut-up apples, corn, grain, lettuce, and so forth. In the morning, I would go out and see the footprints of my night visitors! I made many plaster casts of their hoof or paw marks. It was amazing how many different animals had come to enjoy their moon-lit feasts. I hope the deer leave you a few roses this spring! Stay warm; spring is coming for real! I love that Easter tree and the dainty crocheted eggs. Just beautiful.

Your Easter tree looks so beautiful Faith. I have been Easter decorating too - I love the pastels at this time of year.
