Fall put a spring in my old step

I've always loved the fall, and of all the seasons to me at least, this one goes by the fastest. But it brings me joy and I just feel better.

No special plans for today, some of my clan are working, and the others are doing scout activities. So...........I've got my beeswax out and maybe I'll either make some candles which I should, or make some uncandles. Trying out my mini crock pot.

Pecan pie....been thinking about that too...and I've decided to start  some sourdough starter. I'm looking forward to having a moment to ones self.

On the crochet shawl....it's a yarn eater. I'm finishing up the 3rd skein. Now that it's a little longer (width wise) I'm going to try it on and see what's shakin with that.

I love this time of the year. We've had such hot weather lately but today the smoke from wildfires South of us is hiding the sun and keeping the temperature down. However, it makes the eyes burn and breathing difficult. I feel so bad for the people whose homes have been burnt. Guess I shouldn't complain about the smoke.
