Howdy Folks!
Here we are again, middle of the week, how are all of you doing in your neck of the woods?
I hope all of you are well, mentally, physically, & spiritually.
I had to go out today & take my son to work. I needed a few things for Easter as I have bought nothing and it is fast approaching. Different than other years, everything is different this year isn't it?
I didn't want to stand in line to go to the big box grocery store. And so I thought I would swing by Save A Lot. Do you have that in your area?
They were allowing 69 people in the store, there were 4 of us and the cashier. I picked up a a ham. I like the kind with the bone in, it's about 6 lbs. After Easter, I make soup and pop it in the freezer. I'll forgo the Paska bread this year, keeping it simple. I figured that it would benefit our mental and spiritual psych to have something as close to normal as we once did, even if everything else is changed.
Linden Tea? Ever tried it? I stumbled on something about it the other day and thought I would try it, I know they don't carry it at the big box grocery store chain. Today, while at SAL, would you believe, they had it? That ever happen to you. When you are least looking for something there it is.? Or when you are looking for something completely different you find something you've been searching for?
I bought 2 boxes. Now if I can find what I did with the Beeswax Rosettes I made. I put them in a clear plastic bag, and POOF they are MIA.
A Picture ..... of course
So, this is a placemat I found at Old Time Pottery several years ago. It's large, and colorful and perfect for the springtime when it's the only time they see the light of day. I decided to keep it and not take to Goodwill. Goodwill's are all closed now. go figure, just when people are home to clean out stuff, and there may be people to buy it, and the workers to keep working..
Isn't this sweet? I roll them up in the drawer so there are roll marks. Doesn't this just holler out
Springtime!
Stay well dear ones!

Yes, the placemat does holler out springtime! It's very pretty!
Love the chicken family - sweet and whimsical:-) I've never tried Linden tea so now you have me curious. I too might have to happen upon some;-)
Have a beautiful day~
You make Paska? For my family it just wouldn't be Easter without it. I used to make a huge recipe but in recent years laziness has set in and I invented a recipe that I can make in the breadmaker. Tomorrow is the day I'll be making it and I guess asking the kids to come by if they want any. I suppose I could safely pass it out the door into their willing hands.
I went to the dollar store to buy chocolate rabbits and eggs for Easter. I did check to make sure they were not made in China before buying them!
Why is it that every time a person puts something away where they will be able to find it, that item never appears again.
God bless.
Thank you all for stopping in & leaving comments, it's such a joy.
The placemat is a delight perfect Spring accessory. Have a wonderful Easter.
