I've not seen it which really is remarkable as I prefer old movies to anything modern. Thanks for the recommendation ๐ŸŽ„

I'm trying to remember if we've watched "The Bishop's Wife" in other years or not. Regardless, I'm sure we'd enjoy it if we watched it again.

Oh yes, one of the delightful old time Christmas movies... Nope, they don't make them, anymore.

Have you seen "The Man Who Came To Dinner," a Monty Wolly old film, set at Christmas time?

I know that "It's A Wonderful Life" is considered a necessary part of Christmas, but.... I do not like it. So horribly sad. Can't stand when the old man loses the money. Can't-stand-it!!!!!

Also have enjoyed Albert Finney's "Scrooge" which is a musical version. -smile-

My personal favorite is "A Child's Christmas In Wales"!!!! Very hard to come by now. So happy I got a copy, long ago. Perhaps your library system has it, to borrow.

So nice to see you posting....

"Chestnuts roasting on an open fire
Jack Frost nipping at your nose
Yuletide carols being sung by a choir
And folks dressed up like Eskimos…"
