I like to see what the "Royals"are up to now and then...NOT everyday. The pageantry, and pomp...the beautiful gowns, and grace of the titles. Would I want to be one..no. It's how the other half lives, a world in which I know nothing about, anymore than they know of my life.
Kate & Will, Megan & Harry, and all the little ones, watching them grow it's all quite fun.
On the other hand....I cannot help feel a wee bit sorry for the wives of the Royals. Kate is from England, and so is "familiar" as one could be, as was Diana.
All to sad what happened to Diana...a great beauty.
And now...Megan.
I know, they enter into this "knowing" but could never really knows what hit them until they are knee deep into it. I think that is where Megan is now. I feel sorry for her.
Born here in good old America, there is nothing she could have done to prepare for what was about to happen to her. I wonder to myself...how long will they last.? He is trying to protect her from something for which there is no protection. Look at what happened to Diana...
Their little Archie is so precious....the life he will lead, as all the children, will never be their own.
Try as they might to make things "normal", what is that for the Royals? How could they know what is or isn't normal, living in their circles?
I hope and wish them all well, and I'll continue to watch the glittery crowns, and pageantry...
but I am thankful....I can go to the store in peace, nobody is watching everything I say or do...
NOBODY CARES 😀
I'm not in the royal fishbowl.
Everything does have it's price.
I wouldn't trade with either of them, not for a single moment.

I'm not a fan of Megan, since she went all Political.
A very different 'Political,' than Diana did. Diana spoke up for people.
Megen is jumping on things that are Hot Topics Now. Hot Topics with the Liberals of the world.
And when she and Harry preach about our Global Problems. And then fly hither and yon, using all that fossil fuels... Come on! Get real. Stop being hypocrites.
Here is link to article on Celebrities using private jets, to go to Climate Change Weekend....
I don't have a link to the articles on how Megan and Harry flew hither and yon, using jets. Which guzzle fuel, which we are supposed to be saving...
Don't suppose I *am supposed to* make a differing comment. But this is such a "Pet Peeve" of mine, that it struck a nerve. -sigh-
You can always not Publish it, of course.
Agreed! A certain responsibility of those who are in the public fishbowl, weather they royalty, Jollywood,or those in our own government, who have one set of rules for themselves, and one for everybody else. My comment regarding Megan was to the point that I don't think she was prepared for what she was stepping into. For that I feel sorry for her,she entered into something which is closed to commoners. I watched the interview, and just plain felt sorry for her (politics aside). She is learning that all that is glitter is not gold. She's in it now up to her highbrows. Being a powerful feminist is no match for the crown. Diana was proof enough of that. Thank you for stopping over.
