We are getting a nice rain, gentle. A good soaking for my plants in the wee garden, the pots, and my herb garden. Much needed. Even the bird bath is full. Been busy catching up on laundry as the washing machine broke, and it took 5 days to have one delivered. Only....the delivery date came and went with no washer. The machine was damaged on the truck, they were 2 hours and 45 minutes late, and they couldn't get the hose disconnected..What a cluster.
I got the washer the next day in/out 20 minutes. They were on time. Amazing.
Beautiful Mums, a sure sign of Fall. I chose a burgundy one.
A stop at the outdoor market to pick up some garlic from the Amish, one for eating, and one for planting. and some kale.
Look at the lovely kale, so fresh and vibrant.

Too bad about the delay in getting your new washer. Hopefully you'll like the new one. I'm finding our new washer takes much longer to do a cycle of wash than our old one ( not that it was that old but they don't last it seems).

We too have rain, but it's depressing. For some reason. Must not let it be so, though!!! Perhaps I really want a run of beautiful days, to let Autumn sink in? Not getting it.
Soon, it will be cold rain, so I should not complain about this rain!

I love a nice gently rain. And, the gardens do too; so much better for the plants than water from a garden hose. I would have chosen the burgundy mum too. I also love being a Rose "Bud." I hope your week is good (now that you have the washing machine up and going).
