Over the clothesline chit chat

 Mornin Neighbor !

I see we both had the same idea, with the heat putting some things on the line to dry, there will be no flapping because it's so still.

Not to much going on here with me, this heat has me at bay, the heat and the humidity. I don't think we'll be going to the farmers market today, upper 90's. Oh there is the usual things to do, laundry and supper. I've decided to unravel a project I had worked on and re use the yarn for a new project.  I'm still working on the scarf/shawl, but I can't get the hook size I want down. Tension.

Sometimes I crochet loose and sometimes not. I'm using leftover yarn and not sure I have enough, the hook size will eat up the yarn, I don't want to make a trip to Holly Hobby to get more. I'm trying to use up what I have. I've got at least 2 skeins of the Rosebud color. So I think I'll try it in that color. It's not a hard pattern, something isn't right, it's either the color or the hook. So..I'll change both. Sometime today I'll start that project.

We wanted to cook out on the grill again today, but "they" are calling for storms, so we will spagetti.

I received my little doll yesterday.
She's a Doll  ( The orininal posting about this little darlin.

 After a slight mishap.
When I ordered here, they left her in the car and she was missed for drop off at the PO. When she was delivered, she was dropped off at the wrong house. I had checked the tracking page, and it was noted that it was delivered, I had saw the mailman so I knew he had been here. But no package.
I was able to catch him delivering across the street, he told me that he dropped off the package on the next street, they have the same house address. He apologized, and went and got her for me.The seller reduced the price because of the mishap, so I got her for a flat $9.00.😁

SHE IS SO DARN CUTE1
The very best part is, the box had never been opened, all the parts were still in their original packages. They still are, I just took Caroline out of the box. After 24 years she needed a little break. She has a little stand, her dress is my favorite color Burgundy, and it is Velvet.
She will look so sweet with the fall decorations, and for Thanksgiving. And in my some day craft room.

Nice talk neighbor, hope you have a good day too!

Queen Annes Lace in my wee gardern. How about that ! A simple joy.
I have since spotted 2 other plants. I gathered a couple of seed pods from the country last year and tossed them willy nilly in the garden. Never thought they would grow....

Have a beauty !

It was a joy to visit and stop and chat awhile. Such a shame it was too hot to get out to the market. Glad the delivery of your precious doll was sorted and you are thrilled with her.
