Hot & Humid
pete and repeat!
Working on the thread crochet pumpkins, I got one large one crochet you work it in halves. And I have half of the next size down down, but I see more cardboard on my thread than thread. I'll be squeaking and playing chicken. Just eyeballing it, I would say no not enough.
I'll head on down to the stash tub and see what else is there. I don't really want to purchase another orange, I've had that a long time from other projects. It's not a color which I would make alot of things out of except for fall things. So I hope I have another color similar to fall colors, if not then maybe for now just 1 punkin will do.
we'll see still thinkingon it. Trying to use up stash.
I went out today and picked some Queen Annes out of the garden I want to dry it and put it in a vase so I can enjoy it over the winter. One of them already went to seed.
Look at this stunner, it's in a heart shape LOVE IT !

Well, there is dishes to do, and supper to get together. Ran the vacum and picked up a book at the library. One more run to pick up oldest son from work, then I can take off my flip flops.
Enjoy the day! Thanks for coming by 😄
Pretty new Header!!!
ReplyDeleteNever thought of drying Queen Anne's Lace. I do love it, love it, love it. Actually I've never "gotten the hang of" drying flowers though. -sigh-
You did a lot more today, than I did. Just got errands done, and got in again. We have another scorcher of a day, and possible bad T-storms, till tonight. Ugh....
But! Remember winter! Remember winter! :-))))
✨✨✨
I hope you have success drying the Queen Anne's Lace. I wonder if you'll have to use something like hairspray on them once they're dry.
