Well, howdy...
I'm resting....you know there was a time when I could wash the kitchen floor, do laundry, and many other sundry things...not so much anymore. I pick and choose now, I guess it is called moderation.
Making supper is a given...and the clean up. Everything else is optional now. So I decided today it is going to be making supper & washing floors.

So,while I'm waiting for my floor to dry, I still have the other half to do...I'll sit and have a chat with you all. Today, I expect to receive the scented geranium, something wonderful to look forward too.
And, I went on Amazon yesterday in hunt for the Holy Basil, and found that there is a local greenhouse I had forgotten about which has been around for years and years. Never been to it, but have always heard the name. So I went to their website and ordered the Holy Basil.

I would not say by any stretch I am a herb expert. But I find the topic intriguing. Holy Basil has like a lot of the herbs, which by the way the pioneers used have medicinal benefits. I first heard about this herb at Lemon Verbena Living . There is a link to the herb ( Holy Basil).

I am not a fan of prescription drugs, at least on a long haul regime. If I can make myself healthy to avoid taking 8-9 pills a day like my in laws do...I'll go that way.

Herbs are natural wonders..
I do also like Lemon Verbena, lovely aroma and like Lavender can be used in recipes, to flavor beverages and such. Some one with way more expertise can tell you more.

Oh....yesterday...and I'm so excited because I finally conquered the old homemade biscuit. I was making stew and biscuit...they "did not" come out like hockey pucks, they actually puffed up and were light and fluffy....YIPPEE!  I use self rising flour for these, and put in 1/2 tsp of baking powder.

I do thank you ladies for commenting...I enjoy the interaction with you all. Such fun!

Tomorrow...we "may" go to Amish...I need a few things from the bulk store. I hope I feel up to it....
Well...back to the mop & bucket!

Have a beauty....
