So much for sleeping in...

I was up at 5:30 am, even before the birds got their choral concert revved up. My last few hours of peace and quiet, a neat house, and just having a moment or two of me time. Soon my "happy" and tired campers will return, and lug all of that stuff back into the house..It will be hours before the husband will put it away, I know ihe drill.

Today is the family cookout,  the sky has changed and is more gray overall now, so it appears we will get some rain. I hope they get the scout cookout for the families in. I went out and harvested about 1 cup more of Honeysuckle flowers, they sure smell nice. A simple pleasure.
The breeze is really kicking up out there and I wonder if there will be rain today  I love hearing the wind gentle tickle the leaves on the tree..I watered the potted plants just in case,.
The sky at 5:30 am WOW.....the picture I took does it no justice. I try not to get the wires in...I always imagine that out in the country, or by the seaside, this must be a sight to see, with no buildings, where earth touches the sky....the way GOD intended for us to see his colors...
I heard some geese far off, and the windchimes on the porch a singing gently with the sway of the breeze.

Enjoy your Sunday..
