I just first of all want to thank those who take time to comment. It's just so nice to talk with you even for a few seconds out of our busy daily lives, catch up, share and unwind for a few minutes.
I did have a "glitch" with the Pilgrim Barbie. The folks who were selling it on ETSY said 1-2 days shipping. The price was great, and no s/h charges. The only problem was that they didn't ship it after 2 days. I contacted them and told them if they were not going to ship it by the end of the 3rd day..to cancel the order. There is a lesson here....
I've ordered from ETSY a few times, and have not any problems with order resolution. The lesson
it's cheap/no shipping? How do they make moneyI wonder if they even had the item? I see they lowered the price again. I wonder if it is to get you to look at other items they have for sale.
They did not communicate with me until I contacted them. Anyway...I did find what appears to be a new Pilgrim doll, in a box which is not dented, and it looks as though the contents of the box have not been disassembled. This was yesterday, and already it is on the way. I got this one from EBAY. It ended up costing about 5.00 more, but it is a nicer item and more professional seller.

We are in full blown summer here, going to be 87, that should dry things out for the farmers and gardners. I've got to water my potted plants every day.
Well, I should get dressed, put up my hair and prepare to move about smartley in some way today..
to get something or other done.
What's your news neighbor?
Yes, it's nice to visit with you; makes it seem like you're just down the road from me. My news? We have baby chickens again so it's back to work every day now. The rural electric company may be ready to cut down the trees in our yard,(boo hoo, but it has to be done) so I will move what items I can in the flower beds before the limbs begin to fall. I'm mentally prepared to see a lot of my plants crushed but they're mostly bulb flowers so they will come back next spring. But for now I need to tackle the dishes. ;)
ReplyDeleteIt's a high of 87 possibly 90 here today. I'm busy weeding and there is no end to the weeds. Ugh. I'll retire in another hour and shower (again), and do some crochet or knit work. Too hot to stay out there all day long.
ReplyDeleteWe are expecting some hot days with humidity and chances of T-storms. I'm not sure why...it has never happened quite like this before; but this year the squirrels are digging into my potted plants and the bunnies are eating the flowers as fast as they grow! I keep raising up the pots to tables and such...so disappointing. I don't have any kind of a display of flowers this year. With all the rain we have been having everything is well watered and the grass is green and it needs to be mowed. I still have that little doll dress to sew; pattern is all cut. I have a cross stitch laid out on my stitching table. I am also working on a small table topper quilt. On weekends I don't do much craft time; so it will all have to wait until next week. Good luck with your doll. I do hope you receive it by your Birthday.
ReplyDeleteFinally we have some sun, so I am going out to cut the grass and do a little weeding. Hope you have a good day.
