A day late and a dollar short, remember that statement from the mist of time?
I did post about the cornhusk doll project; at the time of the posting I had made 3. I did get another 3 finished and then they just sat there all dressed up and nowhere to go.
I think I might have mentioned that I had a garland I got from Hobby Lobby, it is burlap, and fall colored rag bows, really cute. No where for it to go either. So much for getting all dressed up!
So I put them together like the peanut butter & chocolate, and this is what I got.
I had intended to glue a very small crochet heart on each doll, which as of this writing is not done, the glue I have at my disposal is not for this type of thing, and my glue gun is in the basement on the shelf. So there are no crochet hearts on the dolls currently, but I did manage to tie them on to garland and it looks very festive.
We are coming to the end of those decorations within the next 3-4 weeks, and they will be packed away until next fall.
Be of Good Cheer!
Thank you for stopping over
