Howdy!
Popping in for a wee chat over the clothesline.
What is my hopper for today you might ask, or maybe not. I'm going to tell you anyhoo.
I've got some cream puffs in the oven, and they smell very nice. I had a recipe for years, and found this one, it is different in two ways.
1. uses sourdough
2. you pipe the dough out before baking.
I just took them out of the oven, they are a little browner than I would like, so I will adjust the recipe for my oven. I will generally follow the recipe the 1st time, and if necessary will adjust.
There will be cream filling inside, and melted chocolate on the top. I could easily cut the last portion of the baking time by 10 minutes.
this is where the recipe came from.
doing a little crochet on the shawl with wool yarn, jury still out.
Have a beautiful week, I must get around & see what you are all up to, once I get the cream puffs done, I'll make a cuppa and catch up.

Oh my goodness. Even if they are a bit darker than you would like they look amazing.
God bless.
Sourdough cream puffs!!! That's a recipe I've never heard of.
Looks good! I have a daughter who is working with sourdough now. I'm eagerly awaiting her updates. I am working on finishing our garden planting and getting over an ear infection. I'm avoiding using my oven until we get the AC going here. It's still on the to-do list.
I thought I had left a comment some days ago but maybe I didn't press Publish. Anyway, I hope the sourdough cream puffs were delicious!!
