A bright & sunny day, grateful!
It's a bread making day, albeit off my regularly scheduled day, it's mixing, and we can chat about the previous posting & the cookbook I ordered.
I received it today; I do love getting "Happy Mail".
In the comments a few of you have followed the Mennonite Girls can Cook blog for a long time, they've been around as long as I have. I actually got reminded them from a posting at
who had made one of their recipes, it reminded me that I had not really kept up with them over the many years and was happy to see they are still posting. I have not had a chance to peruse the cookbook, it is a hardback, and I do love the aprons on the clothesline cover, with the bright blue sky.
I think this was published in 2011.
Well I must carry on, I've got a few things round the house to do.

Thanks for the shout out, and please update us on the cookbook. I love the cover too. I cannot wait to be able to use my clothesline again. It's a frigid -15 degrees here (sigh, again).

I like to read cookbooks even when I know I'll probably stick to my tried-and-true recipes. I hope you enjoy your new one.
