Hello to all the Homebuddies!
I've gone on & on about Sourdough, havn't I.
Some have expressed interest, but are hesitant, as I was because if you (like I did) watch anybody who does this, it is Artisan, & Hydration, weighing, discard & feedings. I also post on several occasions which I will link to here if I can find them, about how I learned how to make the sourdough starter, and it was an easy method for me, after I tried other ones which did not work.
No discard/No feed
Simple is always the best way. Don't overcomplicate something which is natural.
If you are even mildly interested in learning this skill, simplified as the title indicates, then I recommend this book, in addition, You Tube Channel, and she is also on my side bar.
I encourage you to delve into Anja's method. Pick up the book, watch her on YouTube, and also at her blog. (sidebar) She is delightful, and knowledgeable.
This is the simplest way & might I say less frustrating way to begin a sourdough starter and bake the bread.
