Einkorn Sourdough Starter

Hello Happy Homebuddies from the frozen tundra!

Sunny and very cold here. I've thrown some old hot dog buns out for the birds, they ate all their seed those who came out to eat. I'll fill it for tomorrow, & there is suet as well.

Internet Photo

I wouldn't mind having this view as the snowman does.

I've started another sourdough starter, the first one I had for years now.

This one is of the Einkorn variety. According to the cookbook. I talk a little bit about the cookbook. You can find my post about that right

My Einkorn Journey Post

This 1/2 cup of freshly milled Einkorn berries & 3 Tbs warm water.

It will live in my kitchen 48 hours.

By the time I snapped this picture, it had been up 1/2 hour, the environment is warm. This will sit on the countertop 48 hours. Then I'll continue to next step.

Be of Good cheer, do good make things.

One of these days I am going to give sour dough a try. Just a tiny bit scared of that right now.

God bless.

It amazes me that 1/2 cup milled berries plus 3 TBs warm water will become sourdough starter.
