Something new off the old hook

A day spent in the wee garden, doing some cleanup, an overcast day which makes it just right for being outside doing yardwork. I've got an order in for some garlic at the Amish Seed store. I'm going to try the German Hardy kind this year. I've cleaned up the small wicker basket garden, and have a few miniature roses, and one climbing which I started this spring.

Garlic loves Roses and vice versa, I've got a book about that, I'll have to blow the dust off of it, and see what I might learn.

I fashioned this up over the week. It's all cotton, from the yarn stash. The dress drapes on both sides of the oven handle and the little ties secure it.  I thought it to be a cute bit of whimsy. I did add the heart which is Acryllic, and added scallop to the apron bottom, because I love scallops.

The pattern can be purchased, or the tutorial can be found which is on YT, this is not my pattern.

Cute project. I need to get my garlic planted too. The days have been rather chaotic this year. Crazy garden year overall.

Our garlic did so poorly again this year so we've given up.
I like the little crocheted dress on the oven handle.
