Clouds & Rain welcome

A glorious day, rain and clouds have moved in, cooler temperatures are prevailing, and it has perked me up quite a bit. Windows open fresh air wafting through the homestead.

I fashioned up banana pudding today for desert, a roast in the slow cooker with beautiful dark sweet potatoes from Amish.

I did set a few houseplants out to get a nice rain water drink and refresh. For the most part I am finished with the hexagon cardigan. I can wear it as it, but did order 1 skein of yarn from Mary Maxim. I may want to trim the sleeves, or put a boarder of the edge. Weaving in loose ends.

I'm in a sewing mood, happens about once a year. My sewing machine is a Singer from the 1950's. I have a bit of trouble with it, whether it is user error, and I suppose it mostly likely is, but I've taken in for a check up in Amish Country. They said it will be about 2 weeks.

We stopped at a fabric store called Zinks.

It is my intention to make a farmhouse apron.

 have a blessed day!

The perfect fabric for an apron. Hope the sewing machine did not have anything wrong that a good service would not improve.

God bless.

Windows open for fresh air, cooler temperatures and some rain... all together a pleasant summer interlude. I'm hoping for the same out here.
Banana pudding sounds like a great idea. I have everything I need to make it. Thanks for the idea.

In our neck of the woods we have had much rain this summer; like no summer I remember before. I love the fabric you have chosen for your apron. Best of luck with your sewing machine refresh and with your sewing. (Sandra)
