It's Time
The groundhog said 6 weeks, and we are down 2 weeks.
No signs of visible spring, but the lovely song of 1 Robin Red Breast brings hope, and for me is one of the harbingers of spring where I live, they don't as far as I know stay the winter.
Thinking about herbs, planting & Spring, waiting for the time when I think the local nursery/greenhouse will have some herbs.
A personal favorite is Lemon Verbena, oh my what a joy that brings, the scent is lovely. I had dried some from last years bounty as these do no overwinter in my area.
Found some lovely blueberries a pint for .99, oh these would be good in a bread or muffin, and then I thought about that dried verbena....oh my!
Years ago I followed a blog. she was all about this lovely plant. I visited there today and pulled a recipe which is in the oven now.
We've had our snow over the weekend & now the cold is coming. Every day we are getting closer to the spring. Today will be a bread day, it is Monday, it's cold, and going outside...not an option.

We have snow on the ground this morning as well. Not much but that is ok. I'm ready for spring and all the flowers!
We may be finally warming up which will be wonderful. Hope it does not get as cold there as it was here.
God bless.
No sun here today, but we got some yesterday. I grow lemon balm, and love it for homemade lip balm and for teas. I too am anxiously waiting on garden growing season. I once again failed at keeping my rosemary alive indoors. I may try it next winter one more time, but use a spray bottle (suggested to me from someone).
