End of the year already?

 

Hopping in for a quick chat...

As I sit here and write this, there is a beautiful bright red Cardinal sitting in the Magnolia Tree just outside the living room window. I cannot see, but know the spouse the female is nearby, they also visit in pairs. I put fresh bird seed out yesterday, they are so lovely. 

Can you see him, just to the upper left of window mandala? After I took his photo he flew off. 

I've made a batch of the chewy gingerbread cookies, they are in the fridge to stiffen up a bit, about an hour or two. They are delightful. I thought I made a posting about these, and could not find it.

I've been moving the hook, and have the back done of the vest I am making, coming round the front side now. 

Our tree is still up, I've put away what I managed to put up this year, each year it gets less. As I get older I find I don't like clutter about the house. This week another bag went to the charity shop.

I went out to the garage yesterday, and the Hyacinths I saved from last year were greening up, so I potted them up and brought them inside.
