Outlander shawl update

Getting back to moving the hook. I have started a 2nd shawl with a different size of hook one which is what was required for the pattern. I don't like using the bigger hooks, but I ordered the special DK yarn required for the pattern, and should use the prescribed hook. I didn't frog the first shawl I started in case I didn't like the way the 2nd one looked. It will become frogged when I need the yarn.

I washed the bed sheets today and hung themo outside to dry, flappin in the breeze in November....go figures. Probably the last time this year for hanging out the wash. Something to look forward to.

Using the klunky "K" hook, I get more stitches for my buck or so it seems.

Beautiful beeswax rosettes, charmed by a vintage pitcher!

I love the little crochet house in your header! The crochet stitch and the color of your shawl is beautiful.

The shawl looks as if it is working up quickly. Such a pretty colour.

God bless.
