But, as my dear old mom used to say "fools weather". Folks don't dress properly, not cold enough to kill germs, it's not "supposed" to be 75 in November, and we will pay for that in many ways.
I went last week to the Dr. to get my pneumonia shot, 2 days later....
I had a serious case of bronchitis. While the worst of lasted one day, I'm not near out of that wood yet. Coughing up a lung has led me to call the Dr for some assistance in the way of a medicine which is stronger than Mucinex, which by the way works wonders for me, this was a butt kicker. I've been sleeping in the chair, wheezing and rattling, rather unerving.
I'm sure I'll be on the mend soon, it was another beautiful day, albeit more seasonal, and I got my hair cut, it's been a while and it needed it. That alone made me feel better. But I'm sure hoping for a prescription. To sleep in my bed priceless. We love our family Dr, have been with him for years. He doesn't see me often, unless I need to see him.
No hook moving, baking or anything near fun has been done, just alot of rest, drinking tea and keeping a low profile. I feel better, just slightly short of breath, and just need to heal. We've all been there havn't we.
Pot of chicken soup on the stove for tomorrow simmering the bone, and with some of the chicken from yesterdays meal. It's a good way to get the bang for your buck, I am looking forward to that soup.
I have a beautiful beeswax candle burning, clearing the air, & removing those negative ions, something so beautiful which is so functional and so many health benefits. Only in nature.
As I write this there is a a beautiful moon rising, It's low and so it's big. I wonder how many people even notice? Waxing Gibbos moon, not quite full, did you know that people in the northern hemisphere see the right side, and the southern hemisphere sees the left side?
So beautiful, I have always been drawn to the moon it is so stunning tonight.
I hope you are all well, take care.
