Pretty in pink Zinnia

Oh for the love of Zinnia! Everytime I see one I think I will never see one which is prettier, this is probably one of the prettiest I've seen.

This one is a volunteer, I did not plant it there, but it is rather lovely and bright, it lives near the Sunflower house.I don't know what this plant is.

I gave the Chive plant a nice tidy up trim, I have four trays of chive cuttings in the dehydrator. Not bad for a clearance plant. Nothing a little sunshine and rain won't fix.

  1. I don't have any idea either of what your pretty yellow volunteer could be. Isn't it fun when the birds bring surprises? The Mullein they brought me is now 8 feet high!

  4. Oh yay. Chives are nice come winter soup time. And that sure is a pretty zinnia. I've never had luck growing them which is funny since that's usually what they have preschoolers grow because they are "so easy". (Oy!)

  5. The Zinnia is stunning, such a beautiful colour. I love this time of year, drying out the herbs ready for the Winter.
