Simple joy

This is a shamrock plant. It is called the Iron Cross. I picked this up from the nursery in early spring just before St. Patricks Day. I always get a shamrock plant around that time, and already had one, but I thought this was so pretty. It hasn't flowered, but it really is lovely the stems are a bit curly que and they dangle down. What caught my eye for this pictures is that the leaves are so perfectly heart shaped.

Been working in the yard, dispersing all that mulch, we still have a good bit yet, our neighbor who lent us her driveway, can have as much as she wants, for her yard, and we still have plenty.

Have a good week everybody.

Very inspiring! With six leaves, that would make the perfect snowflake! :)

That Shamrock plant is so pretty. I remember my Mom had one and she had it for years.

Mulch and more mulch! Something good that came from the tree having to come down! I love that Shamrock plant, especially with the dark inner markings.

Brenda thank you very much for stopping over and leaving a comment, how wonderful of you! It's nice to get outside and putz around in the garden and watch the seeds grow and be beautiful.
