Happy New Year!
I like fresh new beginnings, I'm sure you do too.
What better a time than the New Year
No resolutions, no goals which are not obtainable or sustainable, just real life, purposeful, meaningful lifestyle changes. I've been around this blogging block since 2008. It was comfy and felt like home over at the original home CrochetbytheSea,- over the years met some darling folks. You know that feeling you get when you really KNOW it's time for a change up in things?
Now is that time for me.
I still like and enjoy doing all of the things I've done creative wise, and will continue to do them here, in what I hope shed in a different light, I am after all 13 years older than when I began, my tastes have not changed but have been enhanced with time, having weeded out and bringing forth only those things which will bring me sincere joy and happiness.
The poem by Oliver Wendell Holmes caught my eye a few years back. Working my pattern, patiently,it will become a Rose by and by. Life is the pattern isn't it? I've come to the age where now more than ever I realize I am making a pattern with my life. It isn't a beautiful perfect Rose yet, and I'm slow to the party, but will continue to work my pattern, patiently and kindly.
So a big Welcome Hug for you, whether you are a new friend, or a tried and true from the last 13 years.
I am grateful you have visited, and I do hope you will return again.
