Hodge Podge Musings today

 Randomness abounds today.

No primary topic, just off the cuff chit chat.

I awaken this morning to this. is there any more to say? Except..

It's straight out of GOD'S coloring book, he used beautiful hues this morning from his extensive box of Crayola's.

I'm a sky watcher, daytime, night time...anytime. I like to look up. Another Indian Summer day, count it as all good for November. The sky at night clear, and what stars I can see are bright. During the day bright blue and clear as a bell.

Have you ever heard of Croissant Bread? I picked up a loaf the other day at Aldi's. I've not seen it anywhere else. I suppose you could make a sandwhich with it, but it is more like a bread for toast, it's not a dense bread, but light like Croissants. I found a recipe on the web, I'm going to try it. I glanced over the recipe, and it is a fold and roll like you would if you were making pastry, 2 sticks of butter I think it called for.  Waiting for a fall day for that.

Croissant Bread

Fabric watch: Pending on it's way. I received notification is was going to be delivered yesterday, now it is in transit once again from Indiana to Ohio.

Peace to you !

If you try that Croissant bread you'll have to post about it and we'll know if it's tasty. The recipe calls for a lot of butter. No doubt it will be very rich.

I love sunrises and sunsets. My provinces nickname or slogan is "Land of the Living Skies" and it really reflects our skies here.

Hope your fabric arrives very soon.

God bless.

That is a beautiful slogan, and from your header picture, it is just that. Room to breath, where the earth touches the sky.

I do want to try it, I don't know if I'll find it again. I think it was a promotional item. My family liked it, I don't know if I could do it justice. I've got to have the mojo for the baking, it's still to nice outside.

Ah! Olde Dame, how lovely to once again have you visit in my little corner of the world once again. I do thank "yee" :) for stopping to visit with me.

I get that bug, in fact I have some in the fridge which I've ignored. Must get back to it. It will be helpful in the event we cannot purchase flour to make bread. Croissant bread is a possibility, but the weather says go outside. I'm hanging out bed sheets today. :)

Thank you, I've looked for a few times at different stores no find. I'll try to make it, when the weather says cold and damp. Indian summer again today.
