Hello Friends & Neighbors.
A new day, a new week. Gloriously beautiful weather again today. Our very large tree had a leaf dump over night, and the small yard was covered in golden tulip leaves. I went out this morning and raked, and raked, DH moved some in the can and I used the leaf blower to move it to the curb. Our city has leaf pick up, they'll be round soon I suspect.
I'm done with the physical for today. Just now having a cup of coffee, and I had a taste for egg salad sangwhich. So I boiled up some eggs. Dishes to do. Supper to make rinse and repeat.
I thank those of you who comments about the fabric, and the possibilities which I can explore to help it go around my fluffiness. I have not heard back from the company as of yet. I don't know what I expect for them to do. We'll see.
I noticed that the garlic I planted last month, is coming up. I'm thankful the squirrel didn't get them. I'd like to bake, but the weather is just not condusive for that sort of thing. It will arrive soon enough I suppose.
Well, I've got more chores to get done, I'm out of coffee, break is over.
Always wanted one of these tubs.
My mind wants to get in and soak my cares aways with a nice Lavender Epsom Salt bath. The rest of me doesn't want the fireman to come and have to hoist me out.
Have a peace filled day.

Our last house had a claw foot tub. Hubby has never liked baths but liked it. Now we are in a different house and the tub is almost square at the ends - not comfortable so he won't take a bath even if he's really sore.
I missed the last post so I wasn't aware of the problem with the new piece of fabric. I know nothing about sewing but I see that some more talented souls gave some advice. I hope you can still make your apron.
The last time I took a bath DH had to help me get out and it wasn't easy. I wasn't sure if I should laugh or cry.
Lavender, my favorite. Enjoy your soak.
God bless.
I love the bath too, such elegance...
