Well here we are again. How are you?
Having my morning coffee, watching a pair of beautiful bluejays romp around the bottom of the feeder. I have two feeders one for Finches, which is new addition, and the other is wild bird food seed.
Progress was made on the lights, he picked up the correct socket, and the light bulb is in, less then 5 min. He preceded for the next 2 hours to locate the stud in the ceiling, with no results. I'm sorry I got the lights now, While they are lovely, they are not without their problems. I didn't realize these needed to be wired into a box in the ceiling, and could not cancel. I thought it would be a easy to convert. I suppose it is if your are Bob Villa. Eventually it will get done,
I need to slow my roll. He still works full time, and needs down time. Me, I've all day every day to fritter about and come up with work for him to do.
The Fabric...was the highlight of the day for me yesterday. I washed it, and hung it out on the line to flap in the breeze, it was that warm. I had to laugh at one of my comments, it was from Henny she said I sure keep busy. My mind is the most active part of me for sure. If I actually got to do everything I'm thinking about I would be busy for sure. On days when my body acts it age, the old thinking cap is on and looking for something to do.😀
I don't watch any TV none in fact. I have a transistor radio which is on for background noise mostly, and it is portable so it goes where I go, I hope to get the fabric for the apron cut today. I did find an upcoming project after the Apron on you tube. This is a quick little project for those days when it's not 70 degrees outside. I thought I might make my MIL one for Christmas.
Well, that's it for today.

Too bad that the lovely light fixture is such a pain to put up. Over my computer here I have a very functional double bullet light which I'd like to change to a small chandelier. I've looked at some new ones. I've also seen used ones for sale but I've been reluctant to buy them for exactly that reason, namely that I'll be sorry if it all gets to be a burden for my DH.
So are you planning to make any fabric angels? They look complicated but maybe for someone that sews all the time they would be fast and easy.
There's a very cold NE wind blowing here today and I'm not going walking in this. I'll have to find some You Tube videos to watch.
Whatever you decide to do today I hope its fun.
What a great tutorial, I love those little angels.
Do Finches need special seeds? I have two bird feeders, but I put generic bird seeds in both. I also have a suet feeder and a hummingbird feeder but no one uses those.
I am glad you got yur fabric for your apron. I am looking forward to seeing the finished project.
God bless.
Oh Bother GM! For now I've moved on from the darn fabric and apron. My fuse has went out. It's hard enough for me to actually sew without all of that extra nonsense. I like the angels, and am burning out with the sewing and cutting NOT MY FORTE. I have cut a few and we'll see. They make everything look so east. But not for dummies like me. I'm going back to the hook n yarn.
arn't they darling, and LOOK SO EASY. Famous last words. She made 3 or 4 of them in the short time on youtube. Not going to happen that way here.
Nygier (spelling may be off) is for Finches. And there are special feeders for them as well. Usually small holes or very fine mesh. Havn't seen a one. My father in law always had Finch feeders, and the finches came too..they are so pretty. Suet I put out when it's really cold and nasty as an extra, they don't bother with it to much when it is warm and it can go rancid.
me too. Not sure when that will be. Thanks for stopping by Jackie.
