A tale of two seasons

.......the last two days, sunny, bright blue clear skies flirting with 60 degrees. The next two days more seasonal and a chance of snowfall. Tis the season. Apple pie baked today. After I peeled and cut the apples for the pie, I threw the pieces out for "'my deer" friends. I went to get my coffee and I saw this lovely in less than a minute,he must have been close. Timing is everything.

He is a big fellow so handsome

Peace

I sometimes see the hoof prints across our front yard (in the snow); but never seem to see the deer themselves. Lucky for you to not only see but to be able to take a picture. Great looking deer.

What a thrill to see that fine buck come to munch on apple peels. I'm surprised he came so quickly. Isn't it hunting season now? I thought deer were extra wary now.

I haven't seen many lately, but shotgun week started yesterday. I heard one shot go off not far from our place, but didn't see anything. Nice photos.
