Dresden plate update

Hello Neighbors.

We had a lovely thunderstorm overnight, and some rain. That should get everything I transplanted, and the what's left of the garlic bulbs (squirrel) a good start.

I've been working every day a wee bit on the Dresden Plate.

I'm not experienced in sewing, it is not 100% nor will it be perfect. I have a 60 some year old sewing machine, and together we get this sewn.

Jackie mentioned that she would love to make a Dresden, and I say go for it.

Jackie...look at this link on you tube.  You can do it.

Dresden Plate Tutorial

This is from Missouri Star Quilt Company.

The tutorial was very helpful, and it didn't seem all that complicated.  I'll be reviewing the tutorial to see what my next steps will be.

I'm happy with it. All things considered.

I will give it a try once I get through some more of those 4" squares. Thanks for the link to the tutorial.

God bless
