It's a rainy day for new gardens today on/off. Warm..delicious springtime.
Stopped at a local small business second hand consignment shoppe. I was looking for a chest of drawers, sometimes they have nice pieces in there.
Found this!
I apologize for the picture, so anyway....this is a corner cabinet.I have always wanted one, have had a few opportunities to buy one, usually money was not available. This was $90.00 on the ticket, I was considering it , space and especially corners around here are scarce. I had made 5 times around pass looking at it. We went to the car, I had one foot in and one foot out....
I got a tape measure I told my husband....so we went back in and measured, to make sure it would fit in the van. The shoppe owner said would you like an updated price? Sure. $40.00
out the door. and in my bedroom....You'll see my "dear friends" Isabelle and Toby nestled in there.
I love these kind of surprises, you don't always get what you want....but you'll always get what you need, I was able to pretty well clean up crafts and what nots in here.

He was happy he was open again, and so was I.

This really did make my day. The owner of the store says he usually doesn't keep these more than 24 hours. People are looking for them. Timing worked in my favor this time.

What a great little cabinet and a steal at that price. Will you use it for storage or simply for decoration, and are you still looking for some drawers? :)
Jules, I still would like a chest of drawers. This is working fine, I have it in my bedroom, the only corner available.
